Impressions:
Running 5 lbs. boost currently with approximately 9.3:1 Compression (forged Pistons, gapless rings, iron GT40 Heads with some work, "f" cam, Ford hi-po roller rockers, MSD 6AL etc.) Starts easily, revs quickly, runs cool - feels real strong... only problem is tires...not easy to get bite.
With the Tri-State Aluminum Radiator (highly recommend), a 160 Thermostat and newer Ford Fan it runs COOL. No fan required as long as your moving, stays between 40-70 C!
Radiator hose routing is less than optimum but it's parts I had laying around and it works.
Had to add a new Alternator, the 130 amp "G3" - single wire with internal exciter. Now I can run the fan, lights on high beam and turn signals (that's all the electrical I got...) and not be discharging.
